KaBoom!! New Playground Design Day

The Johnson community is very excited. We have a new playground.

Thanks to The Chrysler Foundation and Chrysler Motors, LLC. Home Depot and the entire KaBOOM! team, construction of the new playground was June 12, 2008.

Thanks also to the members of the Johnson Grant Committee, Carla Callahan, Allison Melchior and Sandra Button for their hard work in putting the information together.

On April 17, the KaBOOM! team met with the Johnson family to discuss the construction process. Students from every grade were selected to participate with the design of their new playground. Parents also came to contribute and provide suggestions. There were so many good ideas. What an exciting day!
