Colorado Association for Bilingual Education Essay Contest

This years Colorado Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) essay contest winners all came from Johnson Elementary. The first place winner was Edward Monarrez, second place winner was Jaime Acosta and third place was Flor Vega. Each student wrote an essay about why they are proud to be bilingual. Their essays were submitted in April of 2008 and these students won the statewide essay contest. They were recognized at the annual CABE conference in October. We are very proud of our students and hope that they continue their writing efforts.
